Editorial Notes

Consulting CVs need to show structured thinking, and this one does it through the content itself. Each bullet follows the same pattern: what you did, for whom, and what resulted. No meandering descriptions.

The numbers matter here. "$180M revenue opportunity" and "30% cost reduction" show you're operating at the level where your work moves the needle. Vague claims about "driving strategy" don't cut it.

Education comes right after personal info because consulting firms care about pedigree. Stanford MBA, Georgia Tech engineering. The case competition win shows you can perform under pressure, which is the job.

Notice the client descriptions: "Fortune 100 technology company" not the actual name. That's the convention. It protects confidentiality while still communicating scope.

Frequently Asked Questions

For a mid-level Management Consultant with 3-7 years of experience, a hybrid or chronological resume format is most effective. Start with a powerful professional summary that highlights your problem-solving capabilities, industry expertise, and client impact. Follow this with a detailed 'Client Engagements' or 'Project Experience' section, outlining specific projects, your role, the methodologies used, and the measurable results delivered. Include sections for technical skills and education.
