JobSprout helped me build tailored, professional CVs for each job description, and it improved the formatting too, which has never been my strong point. I landed multiple interviews that I honestly don't think I'd have had time to apply for otherwise.”

What researchers ask.
How does the publication autofill work?
Paste a DOI, PubMed, or arXiv link into a publication entry and the title, authors, date, and source fill in from the publisher's record. One link at a time.
Can I import from ORCID or Google Scholar?
Not yet. Publications come in one link at a time, or you can type them in directly.
Does it handle CVs longer than one page?
Yes. Academic CVs run as long as your record does, and the density controls tighten spacing without crushing the layout.
Will it look like the LaTeX CVs everyone else submits?
Close, and by design: JobSprout typesets with Typst, a modern engine in the LaTeX lineage, and ships New Computer Modern among its fonts.
Does the Academic design need a paid plan?
Yes, that design is part of Pro. A free account builds in the basic design, and the publications section with its autofill is free either way.
Is an academic CV different from a resume?
Yes: it leads with research and publications, carries no length limit, and lists funding, teaching, and service that a one-page resume leaves out.
