What is a good ATS score?
On our 0 to 100 scale, 85+ is excellent (ATS-ready and competitive), 70 to 84 is strong, 50 to 69 is fair with clear room to improve, and under 50 needs work. Most first drafts land in the 50s and 60s; the checker shows the specific changes that move you up a band.
Is the resume checker free?
Yes. You can score your resume and see every suggested fix for free, with no sign-up. A free account is only needed to download or save your improved resume.
What does the ATS resume checker analyze?
It scores your resume across quality aspects and your actual sections: ATS and Formatting (a clean, machine-readable layout, plus spelling), Impact and Quantification (metrics and strong results), Contact Information, and Completeness and Structure, alongside Work Experience, Skills, Education and any other section your resume contains.
Are resume checkers worth it?

Can ChatGPT grade my resume?

Your result and the resume it was computed from are cached for about 24 hours so re-checks are instant, then automatically deleted. We store a hashed (not raw) version of your IP to rate-limit the free service. If you choose to share a result, that link stays viewable for about 30 days. No account is needed to get your score.
